I went to the Amish auction Friday night to get new rabbits. DH and I had gotten other animals there before and it was a lot of fun. But this was the first time I have gone by myself and it might have been a mistake. I came home with 2 adult rabbits, 4 baby rabbits, and a baby billy pigmy goat. Yes, a goat. I've wanted goats for a long time and there was no one around to stop me. hee hee! Right now I know absolutely nothing about goats so this is a great adventure we are embarking on. But he already has squirmed right into my heart. He's got a little home in a plastic tote by my living room chair and he follows me around like a puppy when I am outside. Of course, now I've got to find a nanny so I will have a pair!

World's greatest billy goat!

DH has worked his tail end off this weekend trying to make a safer home for the rabbits. I've tried to stay out of the way(I'm really tired of losing animals to the coyotes!!) but should be able to get  pix tomorrow. This time we got nice, big, healthy New Zealand rabbits.
 I want to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day!
