Farm Fest at Angel Mounds

**I'm late posting this but I'd still like to share.

A couple weeks ago we visited Angel Mounds State Historic Site in Evansville to attend an event they were hosting. It was an unusually cold day and I was still recovering from my procedure so we didn't stay as long as we originally planned but it was a lot of fun. We learned a little about several things. I watched some spinning and quilting. There was a neat exhibit on trapping and furs. It was neat to watch the city kids learn how to braid ropes, grind corn, and make butter for the first time. And DH was excited to tour the original smoke house and meet a local bee keeper. He even got to order bees for the upcoming season! It was a very enjoyable day!
