A volunteer showed up at the edge of the garden- not a volunteer to pull weeds or roll out the gazillion ft. long watering hose. Nope, just a volunteer squash plant of some sort or other. It sprung up right where kitchen scraps are dumped and very near to where goat/chicken waste is piled. Anyone want to make a guess as to what kind of squash it is? Your guess would be better than mine, I'm clueless!

Zucchini? Looks like a green squash to me, not a crookneck or yellow...
Butternut Squash of some type I think. Perhaps it got cross pollinated as well.
Fingers crossed it's not zucchini. I've ran out of mailboxes to hide those in!
I'd be happy with butternut. I've never successfully grown one!
Butternut
Butternut!
What about a spaghetti squash?
