Lessons Learned Lately #6

Lessons Learned Lately- are lists of little tips, things I've learned (usually the hard way) that I find humorous.

You can call me "The Queen of Improv"

1. When planning a jammie wearing/cookie baking day, if you drop the bucket full of goat water down your leg in the freezing cold, you don't have to change your wardrobe plans. No! You can just take a nice, long,  warm shower (to knock off that frozen leg chill) and put on the clean jammies for the next evening. Double score- you're comfy and already ready for bed when the evening finally rolls around!

2. When baking oatmeal cookies, if they fall flat, (even if you have used the same recipe for years and you don't have a clue why they failed this time) you can crumble the cookies up and put them in a jar or baggie labeled "yogurt/fried apple topping." Mmmm

***On a side note*** If you are one of the lucky ones who is looking forward to a box of homemade goodies from me this Christmas, and if in the box is a bag labeled "yogurt/fried apple topping," CONGRATULATIONS! You've been selected to participate in the "Hoosier Girl Doesn't Waste Anything" project!
