Playing in the Dirt

 The seeds are sprouting, the seeds are sprouting!! Actually some of them have outgrown their allotted space! We've been faithfully watering them and we even had to find a way to protect them from Porsche (our little orange cat who thought we had planted a little garden just for her culinary pleasure!)
 Funny, it seems like only yesterday we hung the grow lights in the basement and filled our little basement shelf with seed filled egg cartons. But according to my blog archive (over here--------------------------------->
everything was up and going on February 5.


 Today, the broccoli was starting to look like trees that were ready to fall over any second.













So I played in the dirt a little bit! (Oh fun!)












And now, I have some seedlings that will be ready to go in the ground as soon as nature cooperates.
