Yesterday we turned on the automatic coop door after having it off for 14 days. We are hoping that the ducks have spent enough time in there to think of this as home now. The chickens and guineas bolted out for some free ranging but the ducks didn't venture out into the big, wide world all day. This afternoon though, I found them exploring the back yard. Now I just hope they like it enough here to hang around! Not only are their eggs fantastic for baking but their little personalities quack me up!
