You Can Eat Crackers In My Bed

Anytime.
IF you meet the following qualifications:
 1. You are a sweet beagle/mix rescue dog named Daisy.
    and
 2. You have an infection that requires your lady to dose you with antibiotics and a steroid that makes you think you are starving to death if you don't eat every 10 minutes.
   and
 3. Your dumb lady leaves an open package of saltine crackers in plain sight on the kitchen table.
    and
 4. That same dumb lady leaves you home alone (or with another beagle who may have seen but isn't talking. He's no stool pigeon, see?)
THEN, by all means, grab that package of crackers and have a feast on the dumb lady's bed. She totally understands and deserves it!

P.S. Daisy is the sweetie in the bottom row of the pictures at the top of my blog. She was my DH's gift to me for my youngest child's 18th birthday. I found her in an internet search-she had been a street dog that got hit by a car and a stranger had taken her to a shelter. We drove 60 miles to get her and she bonded with me the first day we brought her home. Now we deal with separation anxiety-we're working on it.

How sweet! (Laughing) Years ago I had laid a stick of butter on the edge of the counter and had walked away for a few minutes. Innocent faces and a wrapper was all I found.

Aw...poor baby doggie! And poor bed! Amazing what we will let those critters do. I had a dog steal a loaf of freshly baked bread right off the counter once. That was *not* a good day. ;)

I am a sucker for a sad story so I might have cut up a little cheese to go with those crackers. Throw in a boo boo and it might have been a 7 course meal :)

Funny! I hope she feels better soon. I let Sammie eat crackers in my bed today, too. She has a cold, and I would do (and generally do) anything for her. :)

That wasn't supposed to be anonymous! It's me, your cousin, Jan.

LOL! Well the dumb lady sure has a big heart! Besides, doggers can really do no wrong when they are so darn cute!

I am so glad that all these comments just prove that we all have big hearts for our pets (and our grandkids, Jan!) Or maybe we just have big hearts period. Yeah, I'm sure that's it!!!
